The Technology Workforce Immersion program begins with a rigorous pre-apprenticeship and corporate probation period. Those that reside outside the Silicon Valley may chose to complete the first month of the pre-apprenticeship remotely because it is mostly pre-assessment, career planning, soft skills and corporate readiness training. The second month MUST be started and completed on site due to the hand-holding required. It starts with job shadowing of the Silicon Valley experts. It involves lots of hands-on learning from the experts as well. By the third month, the On the Job Training (OJT) starts rolling in as a formative process that requires continuous assessment, communication, coaching, and mentoring of the participants at each point in the skills development cycle.
